Ron Axsom

     Ron holds a B.S. in Music Education and a M.A. in Music History and Literature from West Chester University.  He is Adjunct Instructor of Trombone at Dickinson College, and in addition to performing with the Dickinson College Faculty Brass Quintet and Dickinson College-Community Orchestra he freelances throughout central Pennsylvania, with performance credits including:

The Buzz Jones Big Band, Big Band Nostalgia, The Bill Hicks Brass, The Shippensburg Festival Orchestra, The Temptations, The Spinners, The Four Tops, Steve Allen, Neil Sedaka, Marie Osmond, Shirley Jones, Ben Vereen, Bob Mintzer, Joe Morello, John Pizzarelli, Ralph Carmichael, Dave Boyer, Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, and others. 

 He is also active as a music festival adjudicator. 

 He is a Sr. Commercial Service Representative with the Federated Insurance Companies, and lives in Carlisle, PA with his wife, Glenda.
